Aside from walking on the sand, there are many ways to enjoy this coastal retreat including fishing, swimming, whale-watching and seaside picnics. The store and cafe there are very cool. We had the Jalama Burger, of course, it's a MUST try. We also had the ahi burger. Both meals did not disappoint, just delicious. There is a lot of other menu items I'll try when I go back. If you're frugal like me, stop in Santa Maria and load up on supplies, the Jalama store prices are outrageous!
