Gaige as a "shock character" had never been true. Her pitiful bonus of 15% to shock damage is not worth considering. In UVHM, using the appropriate damage type vs shield, flesh, or armour, and using slag, will do much more damage than the 15%. She is always better off using the correct element, than using shock.Third, learn your character inside and out. Know how skills play off one another. Look up build guides.
